ABOUT ME

Andrea Edwards, Owner

Hi there, my name is Andrea and I am the director of a child care program. I have been working in childcare for 13 years now, and my journey began by working with teenagers. However, I quickly realized that my passion lay in working with younger children, and I decided to pursue a career in childcare.

Over the years, I have gained a wealth of experience in this field and have obtained my Child Development Associate (CDA). I have learned so much about child development, education, and care. But what I enjoy most about working in childcare is watching the children grow and develop both as individuals and in their academic pursuits.

As a childcare director, I am responsible for ensuring that the children in our program receive the best possible care and education. This involves everything from creating curriculum and lesson plans to overseeing the daily operations of the center, and managing a team of dedicated and passionate educators.

It is a challenging job, but also a rewarding one. Every day, I get to see the children in our program learn and explore, make new friends, and gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. And that is what keeps me motivated and passionate about what I do.

Overall, my experience in childcare has been incredibly fulfilling and has taught me so much about the importance of early childhood education and care. I feel privileged to be a part of this field and to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of so many young children.
